Radio Stations

The R100 gives you access to internet radio and DAB+ radio, so you can tune into an endless list of stations. 

Internet radio isn’t restricted to radio signal and location either – connect your Roberts Radio stereo to the internet, either using WiFi or an Ethernet cable, and you’ll be able to pick radio stations from all over the world. Plus, you can search for channels quickly, by typing in the channel, genre, or location.

You’ll also have access to DAB radio stations, brought to you over digital transmitters. These will provide a crisp, clear sound quality that you don’t always get with analogue radio. DAB can receive up to 50 channels depending on your location, and it also provides you with information about the show or song you’re listening to – ideal if you’ve just heard a catchy tune that you want to download.

With all these possibilities, the R100 ensures that you can access your favourites quickly and easily. Save the best stations to one of the 120 pre-sets, so if you stumble across something you like, you can tune back in with ease.

Stream Your Music

If you want a break from the radio, then link up your smart phone or tablet via Bluetooth. This will let you stream your music through the speaker, or, you could use the Spotify Connect function for an even wider range of music. If you have a Spotify subscription, you can stream music through your smart device wirelessly.

With DLNA compatibility, you also have the option to stream your music collection from your PC, Mac, or NAS, and, there’s USB to playback from a USB stick.

You could even control your Roberts Radio stereo system from your smart device. Just download the UNDOK application (available on Apple and Android), which allows you to browse radio stations and your music collection. So, wherever you are in the room, you can choose the music that you’re after.

The Speaker

This Roberts Radio stereo system could become a more permanent room fixture, by plugging it in at the mains. The R100 is also portable, with 12 hours of battery life once it’s been charged. So, you can take your music with you, wherever you choose to go. This model also comes with auxiliary input and headphone sockets.

The base station has a full-colour display, so you can clearly see what’s playing. Plus, it has a control panel, so you can change the channel on the device too. There’s also a seven position equaliser, as well as separate bass and treble controls.
